In 2017, CrescentMed founder Samy Andary participated in the Design to Market programme, where he developed a head-mounted camera designed for surgeons to wear during operations.
Alongside the camera, Samy developed a software platform that enables medical professionals to watch surgical procedures remotely. This technology connects healthcare specialists around the world, making it possible to share knowledge and expertise across geographical boundaries.
