Crescent Med is looking for a full-time Full-Stack Web Developer Intern to join our dynamic and energetic team to learn about the challenges we’ve identified in the software interface between the users, front-end and back-end of HD real-time communication.


Location: Rotterdam, the Netherlands

Duration: Minimum 6 months

Starting: As soon as possible

At Crescent Med we believe in creating simple and intuitive hardware and software solutions. We believe that technology should do the heavy lifting and that tech should assist the user without adding necessary burdens or distractions. Since 2017, Crescent Med has been developing a smart headcam and live streaming service that aims to digitize medical education.


To achieve this Crescent Med is looking for a Full Stack Web Developer intern who will help strengthen our development team and help create the world’s first purpose-designed wearable dual-camera headband system for medical education and telemedicine.


As a Full-Stack Web Developer you will be responsible for the following:

  • Explore the best suitable architecture and technological stack for our ecosystem

  • Design a variety of Front-End solutions for the camera’s interface

  • Improve WebRTC related components and dataflow

  • Improve and implement key features in our Back-End (e.g., video processing)


We’re looking for an individual who... 

  • has experience with Django/Python, Angular/Typescript

  • has basic knowledge of networks

  • is passionate and optimistic about technology and/or healthcare

  • is an accountable and responsible team player

  • is not afraid to experiment, fail, learn and try again

  • experience with WebRTC is a plus

  • fluency in the UNIX operating systems is a plus
